Marketplace, the Holy Land Adventure...
NSBC’s children will get the chance to see, smell, touch, and
taste the stories of Jesus during Vacation Bible School, August
4-8 from 6:30 pm—8:30 pm.
Jerusalem Marketplace recreates for children daily life during
New Testament times. Mark
your calendars, your kids won’t want to miss this.
We
need volunteers!!
If you can supervise a group of children, or guide kids in
experiencing sewing, carpentry, weaving, pottery, etc, or prepare
snacks or lead games, please speak to Agnes
Palmejar-Takaki.

The
North Shore Baptist Summer picnic will be July
27 beginning
at 12:00
noon.
If you are planning to come, please bring your own chairs and a
side dish or dessert to share.
The main dishes will be provided by the church.
It is going to be a lot of fun with outdoor games and fellowship. Don’t
forget to mark it on your calendar!
The picnic will be held at: North
Park Village, Peterson Park
(5801 N Pulaski).
The
bus will be available for those who cannot get there otherwise.

Assistance for our Karen friends: Over the past months, NSBC has
helped to meet the needs of 25+ Karen families. We expect
another large group to show up in the next few months. We have a
couple of ways that you can help us meet their continuing needs.

were especially attentive to the recent news about the repressive
military regime that rules
Myanmar

Burma
) because refugees from
Burma
are now a part of our congregation.
